This Friday 21st February, Hannah Firmin will be giving a talk on the changing nature of illustration.
Chatting about her work as a printmaker and illustrator, "Hannah will trace her career path, from establishing her printmaking practice at the Royal College of Art in the punk era, to working with international clients as a successful book illustrator. Hannah will introduce many of the traditional tools and techniques used in her printmaking and will consider a pivotal moment in her profession, as publishing houses become reliant on digital technology, where does that leave a fine art practitioner?" Taking place at 'Richard Booth's Bookshop' in Hay on Wye, Hereford, the event is in aid of Arts Alive Wales.
